I love that you mentioned so many things I liked about this story! While I don't agree with Kurt's action, this wasn't a story about Kurt realising he was wrong. It wasn't a story specifically about Blaine being right, either, because outing Karofsky might have prevented the suicide attempt or might have brought it on a lot sooner. (There's no way to ever be sure about that.) This was a story about Kurt and Blaine processing their feelings and coming to an understanding about where each of them was coming from.
