What you learn on LJ...

As a child, I had arachibutyrophobia*. I never knew there was a word for it. Now, I'm just wondering how you say it. [livejournal.com profile] oxoniensis could probably help with that one.

*points at [livejournal.com profile] isagel's Not Less Than Everything* Poetic smut. I love the way that writers can have fun with language, twisting and stetching it into their meaning. Go, read, enjoy.

I'm going to follow [livejournal.com profile] oxoniensis's example regarding offering fic for friends. Since I've been too lazy to write anything for ages (not even W100 drabbles), and I have a couple of ideas that I'm just not enthused enough to actually start, we'll try something new. If you want me to write a fic to your specifications, leave a comment and I'll do my best. It'll probably be a short fic, but go ahead and challenge me. If I know the fandom, I'll give it a shot (BtVS, AtS, WW, SV, FY, a little HP, etc) or if I don't know it, I'll let you know. Deal?

I'm so sorry, Thorn, I'm really not familiar with either of them.

Anita Blake's ringing a bell, but I don't think I've read the books, or if I have, I've forgotten them completely.

Hmmmm... *has a quick search* Nah, I would have remembered reading a Vampire book (ie. the only ones I've read are Angel and Anne Rice - back when she was good).

Any other thoughts?

Well, if you don't have anything, consider this a "one fic free" card. If you have any other hankerings for a fic, I'll write it for you, whenever the idea hits you.
