Day 3: 360 words written this morning.

No, I have not updated the tally because it's month end and financial year end for me, so the day has been hectic. Worse comes to worst, I'll update it at the end of the week. (I possibly bit off more than I could chew, but that'll teach me for volunteering.)

2: sorted out a significant plot detail. (wasn't supposed to be significant, is why I hadn't sorted it earlier…)

3: okay so am I doing it where Rena goes offline for five minutes and therefore finds out when everyone else does, or where Rena hears the whole thing and can call in reinforcements Right Then? ugh. I planned route 1, since one of them needs to be thinking clearly the whole fic and I'd designated Rena, but route 2 kicks up Rena's personal investment, doesn't it? hm.

Financial year end, the bane of any accountant's existence. And for certain types of lawyers! I do some listed company governance work, so I totally feel you.

On Day 2 I turned around a couple of betas and comments; on Day 3 I edited my latest WIP chapter and got ready for posting.

Days 2 and 3 had some progress made on outstanding assignments, although I'm running into a little trouble getting the idea factories going, unfortunately. I'll make it there soon enough, because the ideas are there, but I need to do more actual writing.

I hope you figure it out. There's nothing like having to stop mid-way through a story to figure out if a character would really act like that (and if they don't, what do they do instead? etc, etc).
