I crack myself up!

I had a lot of fun last night. However, having alcohol that you don't pay for (well, not per glass, I mean included in the cover charge) leads to me getting very drunk.

First of all, Hope and I met up at Melbourne Central, and realised that neither of us brought the directions to Genie's place with us. Dorks. We had to stop by Hope's work and get it. Then, we went to Genie's and had fun with three girls all getting ready, doing hair and makeup together. It was fun.

Then, we all went to the Buffy Ball (held at the "Grand Buffet Hall" which with one "y" had become the "Grand Buffy Hall" *bg*) and had a lot of alcohol and a lot of fun. Seriously, far too much alcohol, and I'm still feeling a bit drunk and seedy this morning.

I can remember opening my front door, I can remember pulling off my coat and leaving it on the floor, and I can remember trying to go online (made perfect sense at the time. Just be glad you weren't all subjected to very drunk ramblings *g*). What I don't remember is taking my hair out of the bun and plaiting it (yay for good habits) or typing up notes to myself for the morning. *g*

So, I get on the computer at 11am, thinking I've been awake for two hours and I doubt I'll get back to sleep) and find the following sitting in a text file called "Last Night":

These are notes to yourself because you are very, very drunk. You only had five glasses of wine, but you're not sure what you'll remember in the morning.

First off, try to remember that you told [your crush] that you thought she was gorgeous/cute, and that you had a crush on her.

Secondly, rememeber that she told you thaat she thought you were cute. She also thought that she'd never end up with a guy, but he's nice and slash-friendly, and a good boyfriend.

Thridly, you probably spent about half an hour crying over this fact in the bathroom. When you left (because a couple of nice girls helped you) Genie was gone. She still has your makeup, and you still have Hope's wallet.

Fourly, you fell fast asleep on the train, and got woken up at Werribee. You ended up paying $30 for a taxi home. (Yes, you know this is the same amount that you would have paid for a taxi from the city.) The taxi driver tried to crack on to you, but you turned him down.

Finally, you are very drunk, but your internet connection isn't working. Chase that up in the morning. First, get a good night's sleep.

The Buffy Ball was very good and a lot of fun. Try to remember to email Hope re: a new movie that Eliza Dushku is in this week.

Now, it's 1.41am, and time to go to bed.

Heh. This amuses the hell out of me. I'm so very... self-indulgent when drunk. *g* Plus, look at my typing! Considering I couldn't stand without swaying, that's a pretty low typo count.
