I'd say, I think the "love" was kindave a big hint. I saw that conversation as Nigel giving Bug an even bigger hint. (more like a sledgehammer, but I've lost my non-slashy perspective years ago).

I've slowly been sucked in, I've watched a part of the show before Angel for a while and liked it. Of course most of my thoughts have been along the line of "wasn't she in Law & Order and wasn't he in Sliders etc.

Now I have to watch it.
