Amusing pictures

Heh. Well, I'm looking at lots of Rob Lowe pictures, but can't find the one I want. I did find this one though. *snerk*

The hair! The hair!

And this just makes me snigger...

Rob, honey, just don't. Trust me on this.

Meanwhile, I still haven't seen St Elmo's Fire, you know. However, I did find out the name of that old Rob Lowe film that had John Glover in it, it's Masquerade. Old 80s film that it is, I really enjoyed that, even if it did take me more than half of the film to recognise John Glover.

Hey, if you want to snigger at 80s hairstyles, check out The Young Hollywood Hall of Fame. Hee!

Well, since it's 5.30am, I'm going to bed. Night, all.

On second thoughts, it might also be the body. He seems to have built up quite a bit from his 80s days, and it looks good on him. (Hey, it's not as if I notice his shapely shoulders and chest every WW episode I watch. Okay, maybe I do. *winks*)

That, and the shorter hairstyles these days suit him well.

Yeah, I think part of the reason I don't like his younger self as much is that I often feel like he's too delicate, somehow. Not sure where that feeling comes from exactly.

*nods* Yeah, I get that completely. I mean, it's not like he's ever been that kinda scary waif-thin, but he is still pretty 80s skinny.

I think it's just a case of the combination of being thin and rather pretty. One accentuates the other, or something.

It's probably also because I generally fall for actors through their characters. As a character, Sam Seaborn has an inner and outer strength, and shows off Rob's acting talents well. (I mean that as dodgy as the C-plots were, I never doubted Rob's acting ability in his scenes.)

Whereas I get the impression that quite a few of the 80s characters were just downright dislikeable. Not that I've tested that theory or anything...
