Lazy writer at work...
The boss is out of the office. Of course this equates to an early lunch at my desk! *g*
I'm sitting here catching up on LJ stuff and being amused by
bananasrock's entry here about the challenge for 5 Things that Never Happened for West Wing.
What really amuses me is that I hadn't even heard of this challenge, but did start a 5 Things fic for Sam a while back. (If you've been keeping track of my wierd, wonderful and spamtastic LJ, it was the Impossible Fic encouraged by DreamTe.) I haven't finished it, but now I know that shortly, someone will produce a 5 Things fic for Sam.
I'm highly tempted to just sit back and see what they produce (which will probably be highly similar to mine) and officially use this excuse to metaphorically assign mine to the trash bin. It's lazy, but... *shruggs* That's nothing new to me.
Plus, it's far easier to sit back and enjoy these 5 Things fics than to try to finish one.
Meanwhile, I should focus this guilt into editing the fic that Signe promised to beta. I think I need to bring the file to work, because I could accomplish stuff during lunch. Instead, it's at home and I'm too rushed in the mornings and too tired at night to get anything done. It'll take me all of twenty minutes to make the changes and email it back, but, let's say it together, I'm lazy.
