- The Outkast clip, where the entire band is the same guy dressed up in different black and green outfits? I love that clip. I mean, the song makes me wanna dance and the idea behind the clip amuses the heck out of me.

- Justin Timberlake's voice reminds me of a young Micheal Jackson. It's not an insult, just a comment. (Hmmm... and "I'm lovin it" is amusingly stalkerish. *g*)

- The clip to Jumior Senior's "Move your feet" drives me batty. Really dislike it.

- I like the new version of "Boys of Summer". I like the original too, even if I thought it was the "poison summer" for years.

- Big hugs to oxoniensis who made my Sorkin love animated. (And, I can now spell her username, so yay!)

Thank you! The first few times I heard 'Cry Me A River', I thought it *was* an old Michael Jackson song. When I was told it was Timberlake, it did not compute in my brain. "But, it's a remix of an old Michael Jackson song, right?" "No." "But... but there *has* to be a connection!" :P

I like the original too, even if I thought it was the "poison summer" for years.

:D I think that would make for a much more interesting song. Ah, those lovely holiday memories of our house by the toxic waste dump...

Hee! Glad it's not just me. I didn't notice it on Cry me a River (mainly because the song bugged the hell out of me, so my first reaction was always to switch TV channels), but his next song? The dancing one...? Umm... okay, I know that's a bad description, but it was all him dancing in the centre of this brightly coloured room/box and trying to get a girl to dance with him...? (Still a bad description for a pop song, I think.) That one really made me think of the Micheal Jackson comparison. It's something about the softness of his voice and the range.

I think that would make for a much more interesting song. Ah, those lovely holiday memories of our house by the toxic waste dump...

Is it 'Like I Love You'? I've only ever seen the clip for that gawdawful 'Senorita' song (in which it is conclusively proven that he cannot sing for crumbs), but I sadly know many of the songs because my sister has the album. He's like Michael, if Michael could only sing three notes and not dance very well. :P

*snerk* Okay, I think you're being a little harsh. He's not great, but he does have some talent.

I actually kinda like the Senorita song. Not so much for his talent, as the fact that watching him sing falsetto for the ladies part makes me crack up every damn time.

"Like I Love You"...? I have no idea. It was a clip that was all about him dancing in the centre of a room while the camera spun around him, and eventually by the end of it there were multiple Justin Timberlake's singing and dancing to it.

Talent? Listen to him when he sings the male and female parts. His voice breaks, changes octaves, goes flat, and he sounds out of breath. If he was capable of more, they should have made him redo it. (Yes, okay, I am being very cruel. Lucky I'm not a judge on Aus Idol, is all I can say. :P)

Thank you. It was bugging me that I couldn't name it. (All I could hear when I thought about it was the non-lyric bit in the middle... or towards the end... but it was enough to be annoying in my mind, not enough to remind me of the rest of it.)

Hmmmm... All in all, I don't mind that song. I mean, it's not a fave, but it is highly danceable...

I like it a lot better than Like I Love You (which was the first single, before Cry Me A River). Boring ass song. Better than Senorita too, don't particularly like it either.

Don't even remember Like I Love You, and that probably says it all.

I like Senorita, though. I like the latin-whatever beat to it, I like the girls in very little clothing, and I'm always amused by Justin singing the ladies bit. (Why he sings it? I still wonder, but it makes me snigger.)

And then, I end up singing the guys/ladies bits to myself for hours after hearing it. Just those bits, 'cause I don't know the rest of the lyrics. So it's just those four lines, over and over and over... Really, I shouldn't be half as fond of the song as I am.
