out_there: B-Day Present '05 (*pout*)

Rambling, thy name is Annie

Okay, I'm waiting for the next twenty minutes to pass. I feel like Blackboard. Hurry up! (Those of you not in Australia, or who didn't watch Mr Squiggle, probably won't get that. For those of you who did get it, Blackboard was my *favourite* character. *g*)

I posted a couple unbeta'd fics to [livejournal.com profile] inthetallgrass (they've already appeared on my LJ, so it's nothing new) because:

a) I won't bother getting those beta'd

b) If I post them there, there's a chance I'll update my website soon with the new fics

c) I wanted to keep up to my 8 sorkin fics a month average. (Dude, that's Jan, Feb and March. I wonder if I can keep this up all year? *boggles at the thought*)

And, this is kinda unrelated, but do you guys think I should bother posting the SN icon drabbles there? (I should probably not be lazy, and get those beta'd first...)

*sighs*

I want it to be home time so I can sit on the train and write sleepless Casey. I want it to be Friday so I can have a weekend. Scratch that. I want it to be Sunday so I can play tag with Celli and squeal over Little City.

*pouts*

I'm tired. I'm a little cranky. I have a headache that just won't quit. And I'm out of batteries for my discman. Could 6pm please hurry up and get here?

Oh, screw that. If I can get out of here at 5.30pm, I'm dashing.

(On the good side of today, I got reassurance from [livejournal.com profile] scrunchy that my weird promo inspired fic works outside my head.)

You don't want it to be Sunday. If it were Sunday, it'd be Monday tomorrow.

Although the next two weeks are four-day weeks, so I suppose that's something.

No, see, I want it to be Saturday night, so that I'll already have "Little city" and I'll know that I'll go to bed and wake up tomorrow to have a shower, and then go online and chat with Celli. And we'll spend a couple hours chatting for no reason, and a couple of hours watching Little City in tandem and squealing over how cute JC is, and then spend a couple hours hopefully finishing off writing our SN fic.

And, saying that, has reminded me how much I have to look forward to. *g*

Go ahead and make me jealous!

I'm actually even boreder now than I was first thing this morning ...

Aw, I'm sorry. That's just bitchy of me.

Are you stuck doing boring work, or are you bored trying to avoid work? (It's two different types of boredom. I tend to suffer the second a lot.)

I seem to be having post menstrual tension. Nature's Even Specialler Time!

This job has no upside at all (it's boring, it's way below my capabilities, the money's crap, it's in a terrible location, long commute, many etcs), but some days it GETS to me more than others, and today's one of those days. Plus summer's coming, so it's goodbye to the happy days of being able to hide acres of flab under huge big sweaters ...

However, I too get to watch Little City on Friday (I can watch it any time, of course, but it's different when it's on Real Telly). I shall console myself with that thought.

*pets you* Eurgh. There are times when I'd be happy to trade in the option of procreating just to avoid the semi-regular "eurgh" times of the month.

I like summer. There's *color*. See, I don't know about you, but in Melbourne, the city is basically many black suit with occasional colourful shirts. In summer, there's more colour, there's pretty skirts, there's low cut tops... Yeah, the ease of perving offsets the fact that I no longer look good. *G*

Ooooh. Real Telly! There is a definite coolness to Real Telly. We're both going by tape. (And you know the sad thing, I just hired this vid a fortnight ago. And yet, I have to watch it again. Mainly for the Kate line "If I'd spent that money on Kate she'd still be with me", which I swore was about Casey ("Kate she'd" and "Casey'd" sound *very* similar).
