Lunchtime

Three cheers for the bodacious British babes who made me giggle when I checked my email at 10.30am. *huggles [livejournal.com profile] oxoniensis and [livejournal.com profile] phoebesmum* Those two lay down the Law!

(I was tempted to say "saucy English wenches", but I wasn't sure how complimentary that would be. *g*)

*mutter*grumble* There's a special place in hell reserved for pernickety clients that always think they know best. I mean, sure, the guy may be a medical specialist and all, but trust me when I say that the provisional insurance offer is probably the best you'll get.

(He won't. I know. He'll get the info, and talk with y bosses, and check other companies, and then come back and admit that I'm not an idiot I might have a clue what I'm talking about.)

Considering I'm not actually in a bad mood, it's surprising how grumpy I sound on LJ. ("I'm not a bitter old fic queen, I just play one online!" *laughs*)

Look at you, kicking ass and sticking to your plans!

*high-fives you*

*high fives you back*

Well, it makes up for the fact that the study plans are being ignored... *g*

Although, I am discovering how everyone else wastes time in the office: getting frequent snacks, checking/moving their cars, standing in each others' offices and talking, and just before lunch, *throwing* a soft football across the bullpen area. I'm still blinking at that last one. (Needless to say, the bosses were all out in meetings when that tomfoolery occured.)
