Hee! I loved that. The jumping up and down was *hilarious*!
And if an anonymously-posted teenage/junkie/runaway/hooker SN A/U happens to turn up somewhere on the 'net one of these days, it will be NOTHING TO DO WITH ME. Honest.
Shall I confess a deep, dark secret? I've had those thoughts myself.
Of course, in my mind, Sam's death happens a year or so earlier, and Danny runs away partly because of that. Casey, meanwhile, is in his last year of college, and has an on-again, off-again relationship with Lisa which is currently off.
Casey's interstate on Spring Break, and really isn't the kind of guy who picks up hookers, especially not obviously young male hookers. but he's always been a bit of a sucker for a pair of bright eyes and a cheeky grin.
Umm... let's stop there, shall we? I think the rest was basically sex, typical cliche!angst, with a ridiculously sugary ending that probably involved Danny moving in with Casey, straightening out, and eventually going to college too.
Hmmmm... *thinks*
Um, actually, I think the original plot was the angst, and then them breaking up, and Danny straightening himself out/going to college/getting a job in sports. I think Danny ran into Casey professionally, and then we had the declarations of Undying Love, and more hot sex, and relationship angst (not in that order).
Hey, it's a bad cliche. I don't have to imagine it realistically.
