Off work sick.

I'm off-work. When I wake up after nine hours sleep, so exhausted I could just cry, its a sign that I'm sick.

I can't believe this flu thing keeps coming back. (On the good side, I have a doctors appointment at 11.20am, so maybe there's something I can take to help me kick this thing.)

ETA: Check out the comments. Celli wrote me an official letter of complaint. *giggles*

Oh, no! *big hugs*

I hope the doctor can help.

Thanks.

I'm just so sick of being tired and headachey and run-down. I mean, yeah, fair enough that between that time of the month and exam stress, I've been a bit vulnerable to illness, but... this is ridiculous.

I think I need to send a formal complaint. *g*

I'm so sick of being sick. Seriously.

(And, I was about to say that you're up late. Sweet dreams, Signe.)

Dear Powers That Be:

My office has been contacted by Annie Grayston of Melbourne, Victoria, with her concerns regarding her current state of health. I have enclosed a copy of that correspondence for your reference.

As you will note, Miss Grayston has been suffering from recurring flu-like symptoms. I understand that this long-standing illness has hampered her ability to attend classes, work productively, and write slash. Miss Grayston respectfully requests that you follow proper health procedure and allow her to recover from her illness. I have assured Miss Grayston that I would relay her concerns to you in an effort to find a more beneficial resolution to her problem.

With best wishes, I am,
Sincerely,
Celli Lane

And yes, this is eerily close to what I do all day.)

Okay, I read that and started laughing.

Very loudly.

Luckily, Mum's out at the moment, so I didn't have to explain *why* I sounded like a hyena.

*hugs you hard*

Being ill all the time's rotten. And quite scary sometimes. Although sometimes you can turn it into Amusing Anecdotes, comme ca:-

Patient: Doctor, I'm tired all the time.
Doctor: Aha! You must have chronic fatigue!
Patient: Isn't that what I just said, only using slightly posher words?

(This really happened, except I didn't say that last part out loud.)

I hope Australian doctors are more use than British ones and they manage to make you all better.

Fingers crossed!

Thinking of that, I need to go now! Oops.
