I think the definitions of 'nerd' and 'geek' are just one of those things that no-one will ever agree upon. I mean, I think of myself as a geek (but not a nerd), and I have almost no technical know-how whatsoever. *g* Just one of the great mysteries of life, I guess.
*nods* Well, I tend to think of myself as a dork. Not technical/geekishly cool enough for geek, not well-versed enough in sci-fi and fantasy for nerd. But, yes, dorkishly gleeful about fandoms, etc.
