I do love Rodney babbling. If it was an Olypic sport, he'd totally have a gold medal. And I think John would shut down, would pull back and be untouchable, would immediately distance himself once he decided Rodney wasn't worth the effort (even though, deep down, he *wanted* Rodney to be worth the effort, he wanted Rodney to prove him wrong, to give him an excuse to trust him again).
