I loved that. I mean, it was a fairly random character point to throw in, but I loved the way that Rodney didn't *get* it. Not in any way, shape or form. He didn't see why she did it; he just shrugged it off and decided it was yet another thing about her that didn't concern him.

how john flirts with rodney, who doesn't even notice his own attraction to the other man.

*laughs* Yeah, a couple people reading the WIP laughed over John's decision not to join the military and thought that John's kinda-obvious flirting was probably one of the main reasons John didn't want to join the forces.

and i really loved how determined rodney was to apologize, even if he almost ended up failing john all over again.

Rodney... I like that Rodney follows his conscience. For a man of science, a man of IQ and facts and proof, deepdown, he'll do what's right and ignore the probabilities. It takes a certain amount of courage to follow your gut when you know that other ways are more beneficial to you.
