Sometimes, it's the wonder of two lines that makes reading an entire fic worth it. In In Defense of Honor's case, those lines are:
"You have issues, you know that," Rodney said.
John shrugged. "But that's what makes me deep."
Other times, it's a simple, cracked idea that forces you read, like the idea of Rodney the Jedi and Sheppard the Sith Lord.

Actually, I will totally get back to you about that. So far, the only gift I desperately want is the first season of "A Little Bit of Fry and Laurie" on DVD, but i'm not sure if Mum's getting that for me. After the 9th of August, i'll know and can put up a wish list or something.
