Things that amuse me:
- That I found myself muttering to my car as I cleaned it (inside and out, which is a special treat for my Norrington) and possibly mentioned the cleaning-fit as bribery to make my car like my girl. I've decided to be amused by this and not worry about my relative level of sanity.
- The phrase "Hewligan" for Joe Flanigan/David Hewlett. It shouldn't crack me up, but it does.
- The fact that my current biggest fannish dilemma is in categorising my SGA At Gunpoint story. I mean, it's nothing more than sex and a brief comment on the idea that "John + guns = hot", but do I classify it as a PWP or under kinkfic? Is an attraction to weapons a kink? I mean, clearly it hits one of John's buttons, but... hmmm, it's not like it's hardcore BDSM.
Yes, when this is the thought occupying my ficbrain, my life is pretty good.

ETA: Have I invited everyone to the aquarium at 1pm on Saturday? I don't know. I tend to forget half of the organisation aspects of things, so if I didn't invite you and you're free and Melbourne-bound on Saturday, just pretend that I invited you and come along.

For At Gunpoint, would it be possible to classify it first as PWP, then sub-classify as kinkfic? Because it is just enough of a kink to be worth pointing out, but yeah, mainly PWP.

And of course, my poor car? Got cleaned on Sunday, and they've been burning off brush around here (extending the ring road freeway to go just past my work) and now the car is all sticky on the outside. I mean, still looks fine but I wouldn't advise actually touching it.
Also, I have no idea what clothes you should pack for coming down here. Last week, we had days that struggled to reach 15C. The last three days have all hit over 35C. Bi-frickin'-polar.
