I always try - well, we all do at cot_reviews - to go beyond a summary of the fic, best lines etc and actually get into some analysis or meta. Your story really made me think about who the real victim is in a Day One-type scenario, in a way the episode didn't. For that alone - never mind the story overall, which I loved (and Ianto really isn't my favourite character) - I'm so glad I read the fic, and thank you for writing it!
