I was horribly remiss and did not comment yesterday, but I loved this! I love that you took what in many other TW fanfic hands would have been a short little PWP and turned it into an angsty, character-driven, sweet, and occassionally bittersweet story. Ianto taking Jack's gun and asking him to leave was wonderful. Jack assuming at first he's planning to breakout with it is better. Jack realizing that Ianto is planning on killing himself instead is priceless.

I also love the scene with Owen and Jack and Owen's comment about how Jack is "smitten."

Who am I kidding? I loved it all.
