Absolutely - it was a great touch in the story, and it's one of the things that made him my favourite from the second Jack came on screen (well apart from Mickey who I am so hoping will end up in Torchwood because that will really shake up the whole series - neither Mickey nor Martha will look up to Jack and that rocks *grin*)
