(no subject)

Stopped by the shops and picked up some things (snacks, OJ, fruit, pasta, weetbix & bread), but even so: Ouch! Very heavy to carry for the ten-minute walk home. Just as well I couldn't be bothered getting any good basics like veggies and meat.

In other news, couldn't help sniggering at the mention of Justin Timberlake in the MX's gossip column. Apparently, he hung up on a radio interview show, after he was asked if he'd slept with his bandmates, and said that "Any fan of mine does not want to know a dumbass question like 'What are your homo activities?'." Heh. Yeah, well, off the top of my head, I can think of a few... ([livejournal.com profile] sinbrat, [livejournal.com profile] erilyn, [livejournal.com profile] alasen...)

Aw, Daphne and Niles (from Frasier). One of the few het couples that I really like. So sweet.

It was actually a completely awful interview, poor Justin. That article isn't entirely accurate *g*. Justin actually hung up after saying "Take a valium bitch", and didn't say the homo activities part, just snapped "you know the answer to that" or something like it after the guy asked. The dj should have been suspended for more than one show, it's one of the most unprofessional things I've ever heard of.

And I'm not even that much of a fan of Justin! ;)

Yeah, actually, I agree. I just came across a transcript of the interview and was surprised at just how unfair and obnoxious the interviewer was being.

I'd feel sorry for anyone being interviewed by them.

It was funny to watch the collective gasp from popslash fandom. We might all wonder/read/write about it, but for someone to ask, and in such a way *g*.

Yeah, I'll bet. It's really crossing the line. I mean, as fans, sure we're picturing and imagining them doing that, but to come up to someone and ask about their sexuality for your own voyeuristic amusement? It's pretty bad. *g*

The fantasy is just much more interesting than the reality anyway. While, if it was true, it would be interesting, it would also kinda of take the fun out of it! ;)

Hmmm... *thinks* Yeah, I'd agree with that. If it was suddenly revealed that MR & TW had a fling going, I'd be kinda disappointed. (Even if it came with wonderful pictures, I'd still be disappointed.)

Part of the fun is seeing the possibility, and keeping it fictional, so everyone can have a chance to play.

Yep, that's what I think. Imagination is so much more fantastical that reality can ever be, and how many times have you been seriously pissed off when canon contradicts something you want to believe in? ;)
