Where are they?

I have dressed up. I have put on makeup. I have dragged myself out into the cold.

And I have forgotten the address! *grrr*

I thought it was the Grand Hall at Melbourne Uni. Since I couldn't find it, I've ended up dropping in at the Melbourne Uni library, dressed up to the nines, and had a brief look at their catalogue. They havean interesting book on Harems in the Ottoman Empire, which I'll have to come in and borrow when I've got my Caval Card on me. (Yeah, if I had it on me tonight I'd wouldn't bothered with the Masked Bash, and just take my book home.)

Meanwhile, I've been cursing the fact that I came out, dressed up, and decided not to bring a bag or notebook. Means that I can't even work on the next section of the WW fic.

If there's any Melb students in the library right now (and I can't believe your library is open so late - it rocks!) and you see a girl with really dark eyeshadow and garnet lippy, carrying a feathered mask, come up and say "Hi!". It doesn't look like my plans will be panning out this evening anyway. *g*

LOL this reminds of when Sherrie and I went up to lydia_petze's place. We had both forgotten to bring her address. Sherrie brought a street directory with her thinking we might need it only to realise it was a Sydney street directory which does not include Newcastle in it. LOL we had a laugh about that.

Yeah. I stayed in the library until about 9.45pm (they shut at 10) and found through the student union website that it was the Grand Buffet (...something), so I got to the party. Came late, but got there.
