Morning...

Read through my new contract for work. Was slightly disappointed by the working hours (ie. they're being increased to 8.30-5.30pm, but I won't be the only staff member bitching about working the extra 30 minutes) and had a moment of reading through the internet policy and a slight tinge of guilt. I think it lasted about five seconds of thinking I'll be a better worker, and then remembering how much fun LJ is. *g*

My thanks go to the two boys sitting opposite me on the train (who were so doing it) this morning. I mean, they weren't making out or anything, it was just in the body language. I have to admit, I find something really sweet about young things in love. Yes, I know I'm only 21, and I know they were uni students (and probably less than 3 years younger than me), but they seemed young and carefree. It's the side-affect of crushes and falling for someone.

My weird attitudes to age notwithstanding, these two funky queer boys spent the entire train ride sharing a discman, listening to pop, and mocking back up dancers and 80s pop groups/haircuts. It was highly amusing, and it made me smile. (Nice to remember that some people actually enjoy their mornings... and their morning train ride.)

Heh. Apparently I should be dating
Virgo
You should be dating a Virgo.
23 August - 22 September
This mate is known for his/her ability to work with
the helpless, to evoke strong feelings of
empathy and to keep a household strictly
organized. Though the virgin can sometimes be
scathingly critical of others, cranky and
irritable, he/she will seduce their partner
with finesse, charm and subtlety.

This amuses the heck out of me because my two bosses are Virgos, and one of the bosses at my last work was a Virgo. I get on well with guy Virgo's at work, but I don't think that I could actually deal with them fulltime. If anyone gets the result for a Saggitarian, let me know? I'm just... curious.

I'm tired, but it's my own fault for staying up late (1am... *groan*). I'm wondering what the SciFi series on channel 7 was. I've flipped past it a few times, looks kinda gritty, with lots of orders from the "Ship", so I'm just a little curious.

Hmmmm... the TV guide says it's called The Lone Gunmen. (With a title like that, I can see why it's got a midnight timeslot on a weekday.) Anyone else seen it? Is it any good, or is it just when you're really sleepy that it seems interesting?

Dude, The Lone Gunmen is the X Files spinoff!

You know of it?

But, if it's an XF spinoff, is it likely that it'd be this kinda gritty, depressing SciFi show set on spaceship?

Hmmm... Maybe the TV guide I checked was wrong...
