Personally I adore the first version (I'll use it, with different text, if you don't like it), but the text might be a little small for you. I can always do the effect of the first one, and font of the second, or vice versa. And do say if you don't like either, and I'll give it another go.
I'll get back to you later. Because, yeah, the font in the second is far easier (ie. can read it at work) but they both look really cool. I will get back to you after I stop staring at them. *g*

Oh, that makes me feel much happier about it. (I think I'm just suffering from Mondayitis. Vaguely unhappy with both icons for no real reason... Well, other than the fact that I can't read the text on it.)
