Seriously, I'm just staring at that cover and resisting the urge to pet my screen.

ETA: On a less joyful note, I'm trying to ignore the existance of Remix. At least for this weekend. Someone tell me the due date for Remix Fuck-a-duck, people! How did no-one warn me Remix is due on the 12th? Okay, yes, I've had that info sitting in my inbox but it's not like I really *read* it. Oops.

Well, clearly, that's what I'm going to be doing next week.

ETA2: You know what just pulled me out of my Oh-God-Remix freakout? Looking at the PRETTY, PRETTY COVER. *happy sigh* SERIOUSLY, TW = FULL OF PRETTY!

I'm failing at Remix. I need incentive! (Other than 'the organiser will kill me' which, frankly, isn't much of one.)

I'm not failing so much as scraping through with a D and a "could do better if she tries" remark scribbled across my report.

And for incentive, hmmmm. What about "if you get remix done, you get to read what someone did with your story"?

A better one would be 'if I fail at Remix, I'll disappoint my Remixee'. Although the way this story is trudging along, I think that'll be the case either way. I have nearly finished the first draft, but oh, dear.
