I love your take on Sherlock's drug use, and while his sexual exploits initially knocked me 'round the head you were able to have it make such fantastic sense that I couldn't help but believe every bit of it.
Thank you. That was actually where this story started from: the twin ideas that I've seen in fic where Sherlock is either completely inexperienced or very experienced. It got me thinking about why I could read about both and believe both as I was reading (i.e. Sherlock's lack of casual touching, his lack of social cues, his oh-so-awkward attempt to let John down easily with "I consider myself married to my work" -- that all suggests a lack of comfort and experience. But everything Sherlock does he researches and does with skill. It's just as likely that he's very, very practiced).
