May. 12th, 2003 01:29 pmMan, this morning's been kinda hectic. Lots of calling back and forth chasing up a guy's home loan. Yeesh. I'm kinda glad that I don't usually do the loans/leasing side of financial planning.
I'm currently covering reception for lunch, so I have some time to waste. I'm also kinda amused that the sticker on my mandarin say "Gaypak". *g*
I was going to go to bed early last night, but
tboy kept me up chatting on Messenger. She's a chatterbox, I tell you. *g* We were both going to do other things, but ended up discussing shoes, make-up and other girly things...like SB slash. However, I did finally managed to finish downloading Utena 1&2, and I should send a message to
jmtorres when I'm back on my computer to let her know.
Hmmm... Okay, I've never attempted to use a CD burner in my life, so could someone enlighten me? Do they plug into a computer like a zip drive, or do they need to be permanently wired into your harddrive? I'm curious because I'd like to save the Utena ep's to CDROM and I'm trying to work out how this can be done.

Date: 2003-05-12 04:22 pm (UTC)I've never owned a car, although I did take car maintenance courses about 20 years ago. Those skills are just a tad too rusty, I think, sorry 'bout that.
Your reference to 'guy things' is making me twitch..

Date: 2003-05-12 04:28 pm (UTC)Sometimes, the sarcasm and air-quotes that I'd use in daily life, don't translate well online. *g*
Basic infantry training, don'cha know.
I think I'm officially just a little scared of you now. I'm not sure if it's the knowledge of guns, or the fact that you had the self-discipline to go through the training... Either way, I'm slightly intimidated. *g*

Date: 2003-05-12 04:53 pm (UTC)Besides, I spent very little of my Ares time being a grunt - I was in the Band, so if you want to be scared, be scared of the thought of me on a stage with little to no talent!
