Fic! For me! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!

out_thereToday has been a long, tiring Monday full of training on the new system but fandom has totally redeemed it. Catching up the latest part of an ongoing Kurt/Blaine AU (stoney321's Where There's Smoke because firefighter!Blaine is a thing of awesome) kept me sane during the seven hours of staring at unfamiliar screens.
And then wrote Matt/Mohinder fic! For me! That has officially made today the best Monday in living (working) history. I'd almost forgotten how adorably domestic and everyday Matt/Mohinder could be -- and how much I used to believe (in s2, at least) that they'd work long-term -- but, oh, this story totally made me remember how sweet and reassuring I found their romance.
Change of Plan:
Next was the plan on the top of his list (yes, he had a plan for his list of plans) and Next was the one that had to work. If Next didn't work, then forget running for president, taking over the world, and becoming supreme overlord of the galaxy.
Hey, every guy had to have a hobby and with superpowers, what else was a guy supposed to do with his time? Crochet?

On the other hand, I'm filling in time by watching Glee youtube clips and reading XMFC fic, so it's not like I'm not having my own special brand of fun. *g*)

Mind you, the worse thing about tonight's takeaway was that Mum and I had a combo meal each and then ten minutes later said that we could have gone for a bit more, and basically raced each other out the door to go get seconds.
And then spent about an hour after the meal complaining that we'd eaten too much! Note to self: wait at least 30 minutes before deciding that over-eating is an awesome idea.
