Have to say I haven't worked my way up to that pairing yet (got distracted by bloody Loki and Tony making mischieves), but there's this gen/pre-slash Clint/Phil fic that's just absolutely amazing:
I haven't actually read it, but I've listened to the podfic last month while on the bus to London & back and dear god, it was GOOD. And long. And so good. Its a Clint AU-ish backstory piece and starts from when Clint was 22 up until post-Avenger movie. Its mostly a whole load of Clint angst from start to finish, but there's a happy ending. Do read the warnings and author's note at the start though. But seriously, don't let that put you off because this thing is GOOD.
