Untamed Rec: until our marrows mix

out_thereSometimes, I'm all about the happy ending in Untamed stories. Canon has plenty of angst, I don't especially need more.
Other times, I enjoy a story that really revels in how extremely messed up and twisted it could all be. (Sometimes, I want a story that makes everything better. Sometimes, I want to see how it could be so much worse.) This is definitely one of the second ones. Definitely.
But it's a scheming, cold JGY who does care in his own way. It's a great look at NHS through his eyes, at how NHS could have exploited a blindspot to manage his own revenge. And how easily JGY can manipulate those around him without a moment's hesitation. If you're in the mood for a bit of "twisted and so, so wrong, yet fascinating" -- this story nails it.
