Do you mean the scene in bar between Toby and Sam from Red Haven's on Fire? If so, then no, that's it for Sam, and no one ever mentions him again, no confirmation that he lost (or won), or what happened to him after that. I figure he drowned in the Pacific Ocean. ;)
Maybe John Wells will clean up that mess with some character mentioning where Sam is.
