Quiet office...

Went for an early lunch with the receptionist and a couple of staff to celebrate her last day. All the other staff at at a farewell for one of the team-leaders (also leaving today), so the ofice is deadly silent. It's wonderful!
Gives me a chance to catch up on LJ. *g*
I finally got around to posting a message regarding the Melbourne slashers getting together. Hey, it only took me three days to finally post it... If you're reading this, and don't know about the mailing list, it's Melbourne Slashers at yahoo. Go join up if you're interested. (Hey, we've got 18 members so far! Woo and hoo!)
They're changing our pays from bi-monthly to fortnightly (which means $60 less per pay, but an extra pay per year). I was expecting to have to borrow money from Mum (and pay it back next fortnight) because I have to pay the monthly rent this fortnight, but they're still sorting the system out. This means that we all got paid for 11 days, not 10! Yay! The extra day is the $60 difference, so I may not need to borrow from Mum after all.
Actually, I'm thinking of still borrowing from her, and going out to see "View From the Top". (Rob. Lowe. Candice. Bergen. I don't need to say more, do I?) I wonder if I can convince anyone to come...? I could make it either this weekend, or Tuesday after work... I so want to see that film.
Hey, next weekend, for my 22nd birthday, I'm visiting the family in Canberra, and we're going to see League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. I can go for months without going to the cinema, and then suddenly there's all these films I want to see. (Well, three, which is still quite a few. *g*)
And, even better news! The boss is in Canberra tomorrow! Man, this day is going pretty well. (That's apart from the fact that I need to tell said boss that one of his clients has switched to another financial planning firm... that's a doozy that I'll leave until much later this afternoon.)
