Okay, I want a Snape/Draco fic that doesn't end in heartache or evil schemes. Justify the Means started off fairly lightly, but I want a happy ending, damn it. They were just far too Slytherin for their own good.

Meanwhile, just read a Giles/Dumbledore fic, which was pretty good. Anyone else pick Giles as a Slytherin? I could see the nasty side of Ripper, but he always seemed a bit too protective, even if he did pick on others... On the other side, like most Watchers he is mainly ruled by his intellect, rather than his heart, and he is an outgoing type of personality (just very discreet and British about it), so he would fit into Slytherin. Surprisingly enough, the fic worked, with a nice allusion to Harry Potter metaphorically being the Chosen One of the wizarding world.

Gakked from Bernice (IIBNF)... What do I think of my LJ friends...

Hmmm.... )

In other news, I should be out X-mas shopping, but I've been hooked into Irresistible Poison, a fairly long Draco/Harry love potion fic. It's really good, and the reason I didn't get to sleep until 5.30am this morning. Sometimes, I love really long series that you can just immerse yourself in.

Currently have From Russia with Love on the TV. This is why I don't watch Bond films anymore. The first 30 minutes, I'm interested, we see characters and best of all, we get introduced to the gadgets. Next thirty minutes, more character interaction, Bond seducing some girl, a little bit of action. From then on, it's just fight after fight after explosion, and I get bored.

However, having the music as background is surprisingly relaxing, in that hypnotic, well-anticipated way.
