Last night rocked!
Mar. 20th, 2003 09:26 amI'm not kidding, last night rocked!
Seriously, the only downside was that I didn't end up eating dinner, and just grabbed a couple of snacks, but the good points were...
1. Playing a fun adults version of the "I'm going on a slow boat to China and I'm taking..." even if no-one else knew why armadillo was a naughty word. (Interesting thing is that even when it's a adult version, people still use animals occasionally...) ( I took with me... ) And that was before we even started drinking...
2. Free wine&OJ's. Since I was thirsty, I ended up drinking three within about fifteen minutes. Since I hadn't eaten, they went straight to my head, and I remained pretty plastered for the night.
3. Dancing. Lots of fun.
4. Singing. Karaoke + alcohol = a heck of a lot of fun! I sang Billy Joel's It's still rock and roll to me but we left before I could sing the Beatles Help.
5. Having my own private dancer *g* A friend who's recently become a stripper, showed me an example of how she dances. Man, there is no way I will ever be that flexible.
6. Kissing. Found out that above mentioned friend, who's always claimed to be a good kisser, actually is. Very fun on that 'I'm drunk and this feels good' level. When sober, I tend to avoid the whole 'kissing people randomly without any deeper meaning' thing, but that was fun... *g*
7. Cute guys kissing in the backseat of the bus as we drove back to the city. *bg* You expect me to be less than a metre from cute guys making out and not consider it a damn good night? I didn't think so.
I'm still in a pretty good mood (and kinda intoxicated), but the whole waking up after 3.5 hours sleep and still swaying from the alcohol was not an altogether great experience. On the good side, the boss is busy with meetings almost all day today and tomorrow, so I doubt he'll notice if I'm not actually very productive and waste a bit of time (updating LJ, for example...)
