Man, this morning's been kinda hectic. Lots of calling back and forth chasing up a guy's home loan. Yeesh. I'm kinda glad that I don't usually do the loans/leasing side of financial planning.

I'm currently covering reception for lunch, so I have some time to waste. I'm also kinda amused that the sticker on my mandarin say "Gaypak". *g*

I was going to go to bed early last night, but [livejournal.com profile] tboy kept me up chatting on Messenger. She's a chatterbox, I tell you. *g* We were both going to do other things, but ended up discussing shoes, make-up and other girly things...like SB slash. However, I did finally managed to finish downloading Utena 1&2, and I should send a message to [livejournal.com profile] jmtorres when I'm back on my computer to let her know.

Hmmm... Okay, I've never attempted to use a CD burner in my life, so could someone enlighten me? Do they plug into a computer like a zip drive, or do they need to be permanently wired into your harddrive? I'm curious because I'd like to save the Utena ep's to CDROM and I'm trying to work out how this can be done.

Last hour of the day always goes by so slowly... I'm sitting here yawning and humming, "On the street where you live" from My Fair Lady. It's such a crush song. *g*

I want to be home, in bed, reading X-Men. *pouts*

I'm easily swayed...

The BNF Litmus Test...

1. They get name-dropped.

No. Unless someone's commenting on my LJ, or replying to one of my comments, my name doesn't really get mentioned.

2. Disproportionate influence over what is written in the fandom.

No, which is probably just as well. I have cravings for odd fics.

3. Websites.

Well, I have an old Geocities one, but considering I don't even upkeep it anymore, that should probably be a no.

4. Recs and fawning.

Well, I rec a lot of stuff, but I don't think that's what they mean. So, no.

5. They know other BNFs.

I know of other BNFs, and occasionally even send feedback/comments to them, but we're generally not on speaking terms.

Hence, I'm definitely not a BNF. And actually, I'm pretty darn happy with that. I like being able to drop in when I want to, read some good fic, and lurk in my relatively private little section of fandom with friends. Heh. I live my online life the same way I live my offline life. Extremely selfish. *g*
