Hmmm... Didn't leave work until 6.30pm last night, but I now have actual surface space on my desk! And the piles of crap actually mean something!

Had a weird morning, woke up at 4am couldn't figure out if I was hungry or thirsty (thirsty, as it turned out. Had two glasses of water), then crashed again at 5, woke up at 6, watched QaFUS (S1) and eventually dragged my lazy butt out of bed. Heard "At the Gay Bar" this morning and it's still in my head. I like the song, and the clip with the Lincoln impersonators (tall hat, long beard. Am I thinking of the right historical president?) makes me giggle.

I've come to the conclusion that to get Brian/Mikey action, Mikey just needs to make sure that Brian's really, really high. So far, they've kissed twice, both times when Brian's high. I'm sensing a pattern. *g*

Anyway, not much to say. I'm stuffing around, not doing a heck of a lot. I want to know where thete1 found her funky pictures of Steerpike, but I haven't searched yet, so it could be easy to find.

I'm slightly baffled by a few bruises on my thighs. I now have three bruises, on the front of my thighs, roughly thumbshaped, and I have no clue how I got them. I don't seem to have any furniture that height, it's all a couple inches higher or lower. And, as much as they look thumbshaped, I know I don't grab the front of my own thighs. It's just odd.

I used to read slash for the smut. And the angst. But, generally, the smut.

Now, I'm reading happy domestic fic. Is there any smut in it? Any at all? No. Is there any major relationship angst? Not really. There's outside events, there's a little bit of banter, there's nice characterisation, and there's a kid.

Before the Nickyverse, I probably wouldn't have bothered to keep reading. Now, I just finished Looking After Em and I'm still smiling. Cutesy, happy endings generally aren't supposed to be this satisfying, even if they do include two of my favourite boys.

Tonight, I've only stuffed around looking at science articles (thanks, Slod, it does look like fun! *g*) and made all of two SV icons. Heh. At this rate, it'll take me a good while to finish the set.

On the fic side of things:
I enjoyed Limelight and Slow-dancing. Let's admit it, CJ and Ainsley both look very good in evening dresses, and this paints a very nice mental picture. (Mmmm... glam femslash!)
