I have had a productive, if somewhat illegal, day. The productive part is that I have bought new curtains (to replace Mum's which I recently returned to her) and they are now hanging up in the lounge and bedroom. The curtains I'm talking about are the lacy ones that go under the warm ones, so you can open your curtains without the world seeing inside. Hence, I now have natural light in both rooms. *g*

The illegal part is that I drove my car down there to buy them. I don't have a license. But, I have had my learner's permit for a couple years now and I know enough to be able to drive around the suburbs on a wet Saturday afternoon.

I also bought myself chocolate. It was on sale. Now, I have three of the big Cadbury blocks in my fridge (and one hiding in the cupboard). I don't know if they'll last the night. This is why I try not to buy snacks and bring them home. I have no willpower, so if I enjoy it, it'll be gone within a day. The same thing happens with cheese, which is why I try to keep it as a rare treat.

Question for my friends:

What's my theme song? From what you know of me, what song would you think represents me?

Well, I was going to write today, but I'm tired. I'm trying to work out if I should stay online and futz around, or if I should just call it a night and watch TV in bed.

My weekend diet is not at all balanced. Today, I've had 2/3 of a large yogurt, 2/3 of a loaf of fresh white bread (Mmmm...) and 1/3 of a block of Cadbury's new three layers chocolate (mild chocolate, white chocolate and pink strawberry stuff - very sweet and very yum!) and two bananas. I think I'm going to get some more chocolate... *g*

What drink am I? )

ETA: Forgot to mention that the yogurt is the reason I don't want to write fic. (Hear me out, it really does make sense.) Opening the yogurt container this morning, I ran my finger along the underside of the plastic top, trying to get the damn stuck thing off. Result of this? A paper cut, which is technically a plastic cut, that bled and hurt. Yeah, it's only tiny (about 0.5cm long) but it hurts just a little everytime I type with that finger.

Do you know how often I use the letters t, g, f, r, v and b? Okay, those last two I don't use much, but the t and the r seem to be in every third word.

I think it says something about me that I saw the future one and just groaned. Good greif. I've got my life set up nicely at the moment, so of course they'll be major changes coming up.

No, that's a lie. I know what I'm doing. I'm doing nothing.

Seriously, I'm not reading or writing fic, I'm not creating or admiring vids or manips. I'm looking through my friends entries and admiring their mood icons.

Yeah. That is how brainless I am at the moment.

***

If you're interested, my three favourite mood icons are (in no particular order):

- [livejournal.com profile] slodwick's Micheal Rosembaum theme (I have a feeling someone else on my friends list uses this, but I can't remember who)

- [livejournal.com profile] raincitygirl's Eliza Dushku theme

- [livejournal.com profile] hnix's fannish theme. This one gets mentioned because even though I'm not in most of those fandoms, the pictures are highly appropriate. And the WW chipper mood icon makes me giggle like child.

Okay, amused myself by going through mood themes and inputting random numbers in the URL. Hence, I came across some interesting themes, and some dodgy ones (the "Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears" theme belongs in this second classification).

However, some of the interesting ones include this Giles one and the previously mentioned Faith (I'm waiting to hear back from [livejournal.com profile] raincitygirl before I publically post that link) theme by [livejournal.com profile] girlfromsouth. And from my non-fandoms, there was also a QaFUS one that made me giggle (check out Justin's "annoyed" look!), an X-Files one that was interesting and a cute Get Fuzzy one.

I've just sat around wasting the last four hours. Now, I have to stop stuffing around and go to bed. *yawn*
