There is a possibility that Sports Night is taking over my life

Felt sick this morning. Got up, had a long hot shower and then woke up Mum to tell her I was staying home from work. (And get her to call work for me.)

Lay back down in bed for ten minutes and decided I really wasn't *that* sick.

Hence, I'm at work. (By the time I got in, it was nearly 10am.) Surprisingly enough, I'm not feeling too bad, and I'm actually get *some* work done.

You know, in "The Sword of Orion" Dan actually says "For I am Dan: Doer of Good Things Where Women are Concerned." I'm vaguely disappointed there's no mention of wonderful deeds.

As well as playing squash 3 times a week, Casey also speaks French, German, Spanish (and "dabbles" in English *g*), can juggle and plays the piano. He is rather accomplished, even if he isn't cool.

Actually, Casey's exact line in that episode is "I play a little piano." Heh. I think I need to add something about that to the piano fic. (I also need a title for it. I don't think I can refer to it as the piano fic for all eternity.)

I've just surprised myself by realising that I have about four beta'd SN fics waiting to be fixed and posted. I could feel lazy about that, but instead I'm going to feel proud that it's mainly because I have another SN fic written and waiting to be typed.

(Yes, I know it's no longer Chrissy, but I love this icon so much it's staying until next holiday season. *g*)

ETA: Casey looked at Dan skeptically. "When I said I played a little piano, I didn't mean I played a *little* piano."

Okay, beware my brain. I kinda have an entry for Slod's Picture = 1000 words challenge. (Hey Slod, that was a multifandom challenge, wasn't it?) Well, I have a fic, that kinda works with the pic, and it's nearly 1000 words, but...

You know, I just started writing it, and now I don't know if... I don't know if it's finished. I don't know if there's anything more I have to say. It doesn't *feel* finished, but I don't have a conclusion for it.

I don't know if the sections are in the right order. That could be all that's wrong. Although I think it actually needs to be cut down, to be sparser.

It's a Sam Seaborn, post-leaving WW fic. (Signe, it's probably safe for you to read, since that is the only S4 spoiler in it.) I did write the end to it, and now it's only 100 words over.
