Ooh, it's 5am, and I'm hitting that second wind. Thinking I could just stay up.
Okay, question. When did orgies start appearing in every second music clip? Then again, I'm watching early morning Rage, so it's not going to be the top 40 stuff (yay) and two hours ago it was all Aussie Triple J stuff, which was tres cool. (Officially, "The Annoying Song" by "Man bites God" just totally make me giggle and sing along.)
Oh, dude! It's the "Sun Always Shines on TV"! A new version. Officially, this is one of the songs on my eighties CD (because, yes, Casey has his Time Life "Sounds of the Seventies" double CDs. I have my "Platinum Eighties" double CDs), that I'm less than thrilled about. It's not a particularly bad song, it's just one that I skip as often as possible. (Well, I like "Sunglasses at night", so I really can't insult anyone's musical taste.)
Umm... yeah. It was just a stunning realisation to recognise the song. Possibly it's only important at 5am.
Anyway... The year ago meme. Stolen from
slodwick,
happyminion,
celli and
scrunchy (I think):
If you've had LJ for over a year, look back to one year ago today and link back to and quote from your entries of that day.
If you have more than one year, go back for the same day for each past year and quote for them as well.
If you've had LJ for under a year, quote from the first month you had LJ and then halfway through the time you've had it.February 27, 2003:
This was the Thursday I went up to Sydney for my introductory training for my job. Considering I made four entries that day, I really don't think I paid much attention to the classes. (As I recall, I was far more excited about meeting up with the Sydney slashers the next day.)
In my defense, I "
Woke up at 4am, got a flight at 6, and booked into my hotel at 8." and the class went until 5pm, so I was
"staying awake by reading TWoP Buffy recaps...".
I was also
"amusing myself by entering Clark and Lex as joint investors, (well, first I did me, then I added Sir Pellew as my hubby, and it just got Clexy after that)." And, I'm still amused by the Statement of Advice produced at the end of that session, which stated
"Annie-Lee, you are aged 21 and your partner, Edward, is aged 249."*sniggers*
Hey, I also wrote a
CLana preslash snippet. I knew I wrote one sometime. That's kinda a cool thing to discover. (Yay for this meme!)
