I love fans who complain that there's not being enough smut in a fandom, and then help remedy that by writing great smut.

I'm oddly amused that I wrote NST before lunch, and then found out at lunch that it's "Nature's special time" for me, too. (I'm tempted to quote Dan. "Look at that. That's a power I didn't even know I had.")

Oddly enough, I wasn't too cranky, until I realised. On the other hand, at least I know why I was feeling tired and... "off" this morning.

Tonight can not come quickly enough. I have a PK promo to download.

Hey, class ended early, and I dashed out of class and got the 8.05pm train home. Woohoo! I was home at 9pm, which is at least half an hour earlier than expected. (I was going to type up SN fic, but... I haven't yet.)

On the train home, I saw a pirate hat! Seriously, there was a guy wearing a black three cornered hat. Just one of those things you really don't expect to see.

At lunch, I quickly beta'd a wonderful Good Omens fic, and had to work so hard not to brag to everyone that I'd been able to read it. Anyway, now it's posted, so I can say how great it was without being a tease. *g*

Feel the Devil in Me by jmtorres is exactly what GO smut should be. NC-17, hot, and "splutter your drink all over your monitor" funny. It even has *footnotes* and the best post-sex line ever.

Go read, laugh, squirm in your seat, and then beg her to write more.

Carson on Rove

Oh god. Carson (from Queer Eye) on Rove: So cute!

Kinda adorable that Rove picked the cashmere sweater and Carson's first reaction was "Wow. You really do have a queer eye, don't you?" Hee!

*laughs* I really don't think he expected the straight male host to flirt back, but that's Rove for you. (I also don't think Carson realises how shocking that aussie accent is, but oh well.)

Interesting how much of Carson's humour... doesn't quite work on Rove. Hmmm... I guess it's that Carson's so loud on QE; you don't notice how much the other's give him to work with.

ETA: I finally remembered *why* I had to come online. Peter Krause, and the new SFU promo.

Argh! Stupid crappy computer! Spent like 50 minutes downloading the SFU trailer, and the file doesn't play right on my computer (ie. the images just stop and pause, like watching pictures set to music, not actual video). *sigh*

Fine. I'll download the smaller file. See if you like that better.

Oh, and yes, PK is yummy in it. Not as yummy as Lauren, but yummy.* On the good side, the ad looks a little more upbeat. I'm so sick of those quiet ads of everyone staring into the distance... They were kinda depressing.

(Sorry, PK. It's nothing personal, it's just a character thing. As much as I *love* Casey, Nate will never be my favourite. I love David. And the mum is so cool. And the sister is hot, in this odd... sweetly vulnerable way. So, yeah, I sympathise with Nate, but I don't have the same character loyalty and devotion as I do to Casey.

*shrugs* What can I say? At least with Casey I didn't *see* him act like a ass to Lisa. With Nate, I got to see it twice (with Brenda and with Lisa). And probably a couple more times in between.)

ETA: Yay! Got it to play. And, what I said about Lauren? Can I just double that "guh!" Oh, baby, when she's singing straight into the camera...? (And, believe it or not, this is not a show where I spend a lot of time drooling over the characters, but... Mmmm...)
