Weird Dreams

I dreamed about:

- Having a baby tooth push out my front tooth (stuffing up years of having braces and giving me headaches) and having to go to the dentist.

- Having to have a bath in a public bathroom/bathhouse and having friends in the bathroom holding the door closed against strangers. (Interestingly, the friends were a combination of Sex and the City characters and L-Word characters.)

- Making out with Casey. In itself, that's a good thing (and, apparently he had really soft skin. I remember being rather enchanted with it in my dream); the bad side was that he was cheating on Danny. With me.

My subconscious makes no sense.

Things I'm happy about:

- Choc-mint ice-cream sitting in my freezer. (It is the king of the ice-cream flavours.)

- Waking up to brand new fics (see scrunchy's LJ and words_like_hugs for details).

- New SN icons

- Getting time to check LJ this morning.

...Not so happy about the having to go to work thing though.

LJ is filled with people reacting to season finales. On the Angel front, I'm just getting the puppet Angel episode tonight. For SV, I'm about two or three eps behind on downloading. For everything else, just assume I haven't seen it and don't want to know.

Yeah, so... I'll be avoiding meta and fannish squeals/laments and new fic for a while. (This is the reason I'm secretly glad that SN is a long-dead show. There's no spoilers waiting to pounce on me.)

Meanwhile, I finally admitted that the Homophobic wip is getting long enough that it should be organised. Hence, I added them all to memories in one nice, easy to follow list.

QC...

$150 for a week in Brisbane (not counting food). Queer Conference is tempting me, but they go from the 4-10th of June.

I'm seeing Spike (Buffy Down Under con) on Sunday 11 June. (I've already paid.)

I want to go to QC, but I'm thinking that timing's going to be too close. I'd need 6 days off work (5 days gone, and one to recover), and there's a chance I'd be too tired to really enjoy the con (first time I've gone to a con too).

Cute young gay things?

Or all the fannishness I can handle?
