svmadelyn and seperis's 13 Challenge. Thanks to scribewraith for a quick beta, even if I didn't agree about the capitals (I could be wrong). Heavily "inspired" by The Island (which I'll recommend as a great action film filled with pretty, pretty people). The title comes from Psalm 91:
Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night;
nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness;
nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
