These two are getting recced together because they're part of the same story (both by
sam_storyteller so you know they're worth reading). First, you have Won't You Come Home To Me where Jack crosses his own timeline and needs Ianto to sort out some of the details (Jack Harkness, entertaining himself for three months without running into himself. Very cool idea). It's fun and funny, and the characterisation of Jack and Ianto makes me happy.
Jack didn't bend with the push; instead he leaned against it and kissed Ianto, grinning. "Have I ever told you that you're perfect?"
"You'd know better than I would whether you have or not. Also, that's a scurrilous lie. Go."
And, because I can't resist this little exchange (makes me snigger every time):
"...Anything interesting happen while we were gone?"
"Yes, your time-traveling future self appeared in the Hub and I had to send him off," Ianto said serenely.
"Not funny," Jack replied, climbing the stairs to the conference room.
"Not for another three months, anyway."
"Still not funny!" Jack yelled from above.
"Hasn't been three months yet!" Ianto yelled back, and was rewarded with a paper airplane that floated gently down from the balcony to land in front of him.
And then, there's a... not a sequel, since it fits into the same timeline, but All That I Ain't Got are the letters Ianto and Jack sent to each other during the three months. It's lovely and touching, funny at times and just right. It even has postcards.
