- It's Friday, thank the Lord. Also, I have a job interview (or, as far as my boss knows, a "dentist appointment") and have permission to leave at 2.30pm today.

- I got to start the day by looking at many, many pictures of Prison Break. And I downloaded a copy of 3.10 so I can get better acquainted with Sona's layout (read: work out where to set the smutty bits of this wip) and get a better grasp on how the tunnel was dug.

- I read [livejournal.com profile] oxoniensis's sin and bone which she says is: Supernatural, Dean/Sam, NC-17, underage (Sam is 15), first time, 2,062 words. I'd say it's a stunning, tactile read that worked for someone like me who's not even in the fandom. I want to say more, but honestly? The opening section sucked me in and I'm sure it'll appeal to others.

His bones don't fit.

He feels them, stretching his skin, growing inside him too fast. He's a freak.

He wonders, some days, if he's even human. If maybe he's really a shape-shifter or a changeling and only just learning it. If he's walking around in a skin that isn't his, a borrowed body he needs to give back.

Dean was never like this, awkward and fumbling and furious. Sam doesn't need to ask, he remembers. He watched. Saw Dean grow, sure and steady and even, bones and muscle and skin all together. He never woke Sam up screaming in the middle of the night, or lay on the floor and ached. Sam's sure that's how it's meant to be, growing up. Just like that, like Dean. Like everyone else in this little town.
