I live Much Ado About Nothing and I love Benedick/Beatrice, but this story convinced me I would love Don Pedro/Benedick/Beatrice even more. It's a story that keeps the feel of the characters and their speech patterns while being remarkably easy to read prose, and honestly works so well. There's such affection for all of the characters and I live this happy ending for them.
