Oktober Fest was good. I don't drink beer, but four lots of snapps had me pretty sent. I also had one of the most disgusting experiences ever. I mean, I'm sure that childbirth and pregnancy are probably worse on the big scale of things, along with like fatal diseases, but... eurgh. Mum and I had to run for the train back to the city (said train then had troubles and didn't leave for another 30 minutes!) and both agreed that running while drunk is disgusting. I mean, normal running isn't a lot of fun either, but this was a shocking sensation. Your legs don't work right, the ground doesn't stay as still as it should and your stomach definitely doesn't feel good. Do not attempt at home, people.

I'm getting over yesterday's hangover through lots of bed and old-school West Wing.

Watching "Let Bartlet be Bartlet" always leaves me feeling enthused. I love Leo's speech to everyone at the end, where he basically tells them that the kid-gloves are off, and they all reply:

Josh: "I serve at the pleasure of the President of the United States."
CJ: "I serve at the pleasure of the President."
Sam: "I serve at the pleasure of President Bartlet."
Toby: "I serve at the pleasure of the President."

It's a great example of just how similar and subtly different the West Wing characters are.
