Justice League Ramblings
Feb. 12th, 2004 05:16 pmOkay, yay for Hope and her DC-comics fan boyfriend. She lent me a tape of JL, and can I just say I'm *loving* it. I keep laughing out loud, not just because of funny lines (like GL's comment "Flash, don't heckle the supervillian") but also out of pure... joy. I'm just loving it.
The Flash is so funny, and Bats is just that right level of cranky, and Supes is so sweet. Jonn's intriguing, and Hawkgirl rocks, as does Wonder Woman and Green Lantern. You know what? They're all highly appealing. (And I cheered like anything when the Joker worked with Lex.)

Date: 2004-02-12 07:36 am (UTC)JL is currently screening at 4AM on Tuesdays on Nein (of all the stations it could've possibly ended up on... *frustrated sigh*). Well, this is in Adelaide, anyhow -- a friend of mine in Brisbane says that it isn't showing up there, but I don't know what its Melbourne status is. Worth checking the telly guide, anyhow.
I'm assuming that your friend is taping from Cartoon Network -- the "don't heckle the supervillain" (hee) line was from one of last weekend's eps. Basically, they seem to show eps in the following order: one ep on Saturday mornings, one (unrelated) ep on Sunday mornings, and two eps (i.e. one full two-parter) on Sunday afternoons. I think. I've been watching for just under a week, so it's kind of hard to tell. *g*
Anyway -- whee! JL! Flash! FLAAAASH!
(I'm, uh, sort of a Flash fangirl. In case it wasn't obvious. *cough*)

Will have to sort out my VCR and tape it.

I know we get it at 4am, one morning a week. (Along with "Who's Line is it anyway". It's sad when favourite shows hit that early morning timeslot.) I'll have to start paying attention...
