Romeo is bleeding, but not so as you'd notice

I need to stop thinking of Tom Waits' Romeo is Bleeding as a Danny song. It's the whole idea of smiling amongst friends while you're bleeding to death. It's morbid and Danny isn't that much of an angst-bunny.

amd he sings along with the radio
with a bullet in his chest...
