I think, on a really deep scary level, it's one of those love the sinner hate the sin things, and they're trying to legislate and write policy based on that.

Yeah, except it's the other way around. Hate the sinner, tolerate the sin.

It's just so very homophobic. You only have protection against homophobia if you're not homosexual. It's like... giving a free pass to firing people because they're gay, and making sure you have a back-up plan in place to protect any straight people who might get targetted. *shakes head*
