Oooh, is this a bit more of the Magnum Opus? Are we moving toward a happy ending? Excellent! (Not the ending bit, so much, but the happy.)
Well, we're edging towards it. Because Casey's in my head and pointing out that really, all he wants is Danny, and all the other details really don't matter. (He's pretty damn optimistic, or just distracted by the kissing.)
As opposed to Danny, who's tapping on my metaphorical shoulder and saying this is *bad*. This is a really bad idea. There are good reasons why him and Casey shouldn't be sleeping together - it's far too complicated, their careers, Charlie, Lisa, Dana... (And what he isn't saying is that Casey damn well *knows* him to well. It's going to end in tears.)
That was very nice indeed, thank you. In every way. I still have a hangover and I'm going back to bed, but I'm taking this with me. The cats will just have to move over.
*g* Warm bed and cute guys kissing. Sounds like the perfect hangover treatment.
Nothing like a little gentle osculation when one's feeling poorly. And there's a word nobody ever uses and should. 'Osculation'.
I don't even know what that means... I'll have to go check now. *g*
